PREVIEW
Search our database using the descriptive category menus, keywords and clip/photo numbers, or visually browse through the categories and images. Adventure Imagery's sports stock footage is categorized into general groups for easier visual browsing. Some sports overlap category descriptions, so if you don't find what you are looking for you should browse another category or do a search for the subject keywords.
All footage can be previewed online with Quicktime installed on your computer. Click on the thumbnail image to view the Preview Clip and read the clip details (clip number, duration, sound, source, keywords, format). Similar information is available for photos, including a Preview Photo and photo details.
Footage shot on HD (High Definition) is also available in lower resolution formats (NTSC, PAL and Multimedia). This footge is very carefully downscaled using high quality encoding. HD Preview clips are 16:9 aspect ratio, to match the source, but have watermarked crop marks to show their full-screen 4:3 aspect ratios in NTSC and PAL formats. NTSC is the wider set of crop marks, with PAL having the tighter format. Both are center cropped. Multimedia format from HD is offered in the original 16:9 ratio.
You can view and download watermarked Preview Clips and Preview Photos with no charge or need to register, allowing you to rough-edit them into your project, get client approval, and return later to purchase and download the higher resolution versions.
To download and save Preview Clips to your computer for review or rough editing, simply ctrl-click (Mac) or right-click (PC) on the link to the file (displayed under the clip) and select "Save..." and the destination. The same applies for Preview Photos.
The Send To A Friend option allows you to email others a link to the selected clip for their review.
To store your image selection longer than your current online session, create an account or Log In to your existing account. This automatically adds your clips and photos to a long-term bin for comparison and future purchase. Unlike the Shopping Cart which clears itself when you leave the website, you will be able to store your clips and photos in your account for three months, and add or subtract them when you wish.
PURCHASE
Once you've decided on the images you wish to purchase, select from the available digital formats with their respective pricing and Add To Cart (Shopping Cart).
Footage clips are available in Multimedia Quality and Broadcast Quality (HD, NTSC and/or PAL) formats. HD footage is also offered as high quality downscaled NTSC, PAL and Multimedia formats, however these formats are NOT upscaled to HD due to significant loss in quality.
Photos are available in multiple resolution sizes. See Footage Specifications and Photo Specifications for more details. We have a no refund policy, so download a free footage Test Clip before you purchase to test it with your editing system.
In the Shopping Cart, confirm that you have the desired clips and formats, and when ready, click the Proceed To Checkout option. At this point, registration and acceptance of our License Agreement is required to purchase the images.
You will be directed to the official PayPal website where you can use credit cards and electronic checks to make the payment to AdventureImagery.com. Using PayPal offers excellent security and ease of payment in multiple currencies, as well as allowing us to keep offering you low prices for our high quality images. DOWNLOAD
After making the PayPal payment, a confirmation email will be sent to you by PayPal, as well as another email from AdventureImagery.com with a link that will allow you to download the clips and photos you have purchased from our server.
Important: You will have 24 hours after purchase to complete the download, at which time the link will become inactive. If you have troubles downloading, click here for technical support.
