STOCK FOOTAGE FORMATS, RESOLUTIONS & PRICING
There is no loss of quality between the video clip you download and the original stored on our server. Download times vary greatly depending on clip duration and resolution, as well as the speed of your internet connection.
Preview Quality clips sourced in the NTSC or PAL formats are WATERMARKED 240x180 pixels at 30 f.p.s. Sorenson Video 3 encoded Quicktime files for selection purposes. Footage sourced from High Definition (HD) is presented as a HD Preview Clip in 16:9 format 320x180 pixels at 30 f.p.s., including watermarked crop marks to show their full-screen 4:3 aspect ratios in NTSC and PAL formats. NTSC is the wider set of crop marks, with PAL having the tighter format. Both are center cropped. Approximate download size: 1-2mb. Preview Quality clips are FREE to download, yet are subject to our License Agreement.
Multimedia Quality clips in NTSC and PAL formats are 480x360 pixels and HD format is 480x270, 30 f.p.s. Sorenson Video 3 encoded QuickTime video clips, and are perfect for Powerpoint presentations, websites, wireless applications, multimedia productions and kiosks. Approximate download size: 3mb. Price: $39.
Broadcast Quality clips are available in High Definition (1080i), NTSC (720x486, 30 f.p.s.) and/or PAL (720x576, 25 f.p.s.) formats. High Definition clips are offered in the highly accepted HDV format to reduce download times. NTSC and PAL formats are encoded in the Photo-JPEG Quicktime format between 94% - 100% image quality. Approximate download size: 20mb to 70mb depending on the clip duration. Price: $119
NTSC and PAL are country and region specific, so please confirm your format before purchase. Depending on your computer's processor speed, the Broadcast Quality clip may play slowly or stutter in the Quicktime video player. Once imported into your digital editing system however, it should play smoothly. |
